We Became “Feral” EarthWalkers
Inspired by the Fire Ceremony, Marshall and I felt called to release all our attachments and go on the road. On June 21, we drove out of Hood River, Oregon to journey into Mother Earth’s realms and offer our assistance through ceremony, teachings, and ancestor lineage healing sessions. We serve Mother Earth, her waters, the plant and animal kingdom, and human life-keepers.
Kelley calls us “feral EarthWalkers”—as we went back to the wilds. We sold everything and bought a tent and a blow-up mattress. After a short time, we traded our old car and truck for “Obsidian,” a 2001 black Dodge Durango that can camp off-road. And, Marshall can actually fit into the Durango (he’s 6’4”).
Off we went, exploring many places in Oregon to acclimate ourselves to a new way of being and living. On our first stop we witnessed an amazing sun-doggy (a double rainbow) around the sun at the Big Obsidian Flow near Newberry Crater, Oregon. A sign of changing times to come!
During this segment of our travels we felt that our balance was off. We felt a little wobbly… feeling the tilting of Mother Earth. The tilt is now measured at 27 degrees and shifts the equator significantly.
Permission Granted
After some time to rest and explore Oregon near the Umpqua River, Brookings, and the Oregon redwoods, we found ourselves called to different communities. We always ask Permission from the Holy realms to enter a community, and we ask why we are being called there. (We always ask Permission to leave an area with our medicine as well. We carry many tools—flower essences, crystals, feathers, rattles, and sacred items, and offerings.) Many times we are called to a place to activate the people in the community to empower themselves in their work and offerings to Mother Earth and all of Creation.
Listening to Mother Earth
Our mission is directed from Mother Earth herself and the animals, plants, waters, elements and all the voiceless. We wish to listen and speak for those that are not human, those that have not been heard or honored. Each place we have camped, we have connected deeply with the beings—the fairies, gnomes, water elementals, and devas and spirits of the land. When we leave, we feel a tugging at our hearts. A sadness that we have to part and a feeling that the beings of the Earth are so appreciative of being loved, thanked, heard, and honored. What a gift!
Mother Earth Says “YES”
We make many Offerings wherever we go—gifts of love and gratitude with cornmeal, tobacco, flower essences, crystals, waters, flower petals, and the love in our hearts to the places, beings, animals, plants for their medicine, gifts, and presence. Many times we have been overcome with emotion as we feel the plants or Mother Earth reply back to us with an amazing loving feeling of “YES-thank YOU!!!!” To feel the Mother Earth and the plants and animals and winged-ones thank us is the most amazing feeling there is! All is One.
